AboutMy name is Evan Bradford, and I am a 26 year old audio engineer and producer in Asheville, NC. I started my recording endeavors around 2004, and gradated with a BS in Music Technology from UNC-Asheville in 2008. For the past six years, I have been both freelancing and working out of Echo Mountain Recording, a world-class facility located right in the heart of downtown. With two fully equipped studios, both stocked with an impressive selection of vintage microphones and outboard gear, including Neve and API consoles, there have been numerous artists, engineers, and producers that have come from all over the world to record there. Because of this, I have had the opportunity to learn techniques and methods from many different people working within many different musical genres.
I started this blog as an outlet for my thoughts on anything and everything related to audio production and engineering. My hope is that some of the information here will be of value to others that share this interest, so feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what you think.
